- April 15: Luke 24: 36-48 is a post resurrection story of Jesus appearing to his disciples. Once again, he tells them of his purpose, and that they should tell everyone.
April 22: John 10: 11-18 is the scripture for the day. Kathy LaDuca will be leading the worship on this day.
April 29: John 15: 1-8 is the scripture for the day. It is the teaching of Jesus that he is the vine, and we are the branches. That in order to live life fully, we need to be connected to our God.
May 6: John 15:9-17 is the continuation of the previous week’s scripture. It is Jesus describing the relationship between God and us, and how God has chosen us. We will celebrate communion on this day.
May 13: I John 5:9-13 is the scripture for the day. It talks of being connected with God. We will celebrate Mother’s Day, as well.
May 20: Pentecost! This celebration of the beginning of the church becomes the culmination of the continuing ministry of Jesus. Acts 2:1-21 is the scripture for the day.
May 27: John 3:1-17 is the story of Jesus and Nicodemus, where Jesus shares the concept of starting all over again, and having eternal life.
June 3: Mark 2:23-3:6 is the story of Jesus at a synagogue, where he gets upset with the people there. He then hands them a healing miracle. We will celebrate communion on this day.
June 10: 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1 is from the letter that teaches about things seen and unseen. It is about building up our faith in God.
June 17: Mark 4:26-34 is the scripture of the day. It is Jesus talking about faith and seeds. Jesus talks specifically about the mustard seed.
June 24: Mark 4:35-41 is a great story of Jesus calming the storm. It is a symbol of understanding the power of the love of God.
